What is a good gift for Father's day? How does a 2 week road trip with your son sound? Travel together from Seattle to Louisville, with plenty of stops in the majestic parks of Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho, and Wyoming. That is the plan, and I just purchased his plane ticket to Seattle. My Dad will join me on the last two weeks of this eight week road trip.
Now I just have to think of something equally thoughtful for the next Mother's day.

2 weeks remain
I started this blog with a trip looming, a road trip. Classic. I will keep you updated with the many interesting things I come across, and provide plenty of pictures for your entertainment and computer background purposes. I am planning on leaving in about 2 weeks. That is about all I have planned at this point, but stay tuned for more itinerary at the absolute last minute!
Additionally, this blog will hopefully become the what I have always wanted to create: a place to post out-of-the-box thoughts and artful pictures from the everyday grind. With this aspiration, you can expect perspectives of a college student at the University of Louisville, views of Louisville, KY and surrounding areas, and the proud results of a little sweat.
Voila, the remains of a concrete walkway, thoroughly sledged and stacked.
