Death Valley - Eastern California

Imagine driving through southern Nevada on a hot day. You are in the desert, there are very few buildings, no trees. Pretty much nothing except a straight road and a lot of rocks and sand. There are mountains in the distance, and satellite radio to keep you company. Then imagine, as you are cruising down the highway, that the car starts shaking violently and the radio is lost in a near-deafening roar. What do you do? You hit the breaks, head to the side of the road, what the hell just happened? Look around you, no other cars or people for miles. Look to the sky, empty and blue. The only logical explanation? You were just passed by a very low-flying, very fast aircraft.
