Redwoods

When I mentioned to my Dad that I was going to Seattle, and asked if he was interested in seeing anything out west, the first thing he mentioned was going to see the Redwoods.

This is in the Stout Grove, part of the State Park.

My dad measured the circumference of this beast at about 11 arm spans.

I wish my cell phone took a little better pictures, but this is my Dad with one of the bigger trees.
